Job Summary

We have a unique opportunity for a Graduate GIS Analyst to be a part of our leading Digital Engineering Team based in the Sydney CBD and to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Management of spatial and aspatial information in accordance with AECOM Electronic data management standards.

  • Ensuring that information management and quality assurance procedures are followed to ensure compliance with AECOM standards and procedures.

  • Production of hardcopy maps and figures to appropriate standards using AECOM templates.

  • Production of spatial and aspatial data ensuring accuracy and logical consistency in processing and output.

  • Support and maintain web mapping applications internally and externally.

  • Support for Mobile data capture solutions including deploying hardware, data management and report production.

  • Supporting multidisciplinary teams with spatial analysis and associated data management and map production

  • Maintain knowledge of GIS industry practices and software developments.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in GIS and understanding of ESRI GIS software including enterprise GIS, CityEngine, ArcGIS for Portal

  • Experience in other software applications and programming languages including but not limited to: CAD, Adobe CS, HTML, JavaScript

  • Experience in Engineering Consultancies and multidisciplinary project support

  • Experience in mobile data capture, asset management and reporting

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to identify innovative solutions to problems

  • Ability to organise and prioritise oneself to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities

  • Ability to apply GIS processes and technology to tasks arising from infrastructure projects in an innovative way.

  • Ability to work well within a team environment
