Responsibilities will include:
Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.
Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives
Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids
Assist with field work (e.g., groundwater sampling and soil sampling, well installation and contractor oversight, logging soils and collecting samples)
Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member
Bachelor’s Graduate degree in Hydrogeology.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment where changing client priorities result in the need to determine creative ways to get the job done.
Candidate must be flexible and willing to support multiple projects as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Valid driver license required, and must be able to safely drive to job sites.
This position does not include sponsorship for US work authorization.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred
Experience in the field, primarily related to environmental services including sites assessment, well/soil boring installations, environmental permit sampling, and supervising contractors.
40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training.
Experience performing complex calculations and preparing text, tables, and figures for environmental reports.
Database experience (e.g., Microsoft Access).
Analytical and numerical groundwater flow and solute transport modeling.
Knowledge of multiphase flow principles.
Pump testing experience.
