Under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer:
Design, model, and analysis of project elements
Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and profiles/sections within the Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD MEP
Prepare contract documents suitable for bidding
Field investigation and observation of construction projects
Work on small projects or portions of larger projects as a team with other disciplines
Prepare design calculations and construction cost estimates
Determine permitting requirements for projects and conduct code analysis reviews
This position requires the flexibility to serve as a cross-disciplinary resource to best serve the needs of AECOM
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental engineering with an emphasis in water/wastewater conveyance and/or treatment or other related field required
Have functional knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and scheduling within the Microsoft Office software
Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Hydrologic/Hydraulic models)
Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to work well in a team environment
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred
Ideally seeking candidate interested in pursuing PE licensure within next 2-4 years, AECOM offers reimbursement
